Bank Robbery

One day Swapnil went to the bank near his house to open a Fixed Deposit. The bank was really big. Had many floors. When he went inside the office he met the head manager, who told him what to do and gave him a form to fill out. As Swapnil was filling out the form he saw a lot of people running around.

Then he saw three men who looked very normal. They had just walked in. Swapnil did not think much of it. Went back to his form.. Then someone shouted, “This is a robbery! Put your hands up!” Swapnil turned around. Saw the same three men with guns.

Everyone was scared. Put their hands up. The man in charge of the robbers told the cashier to give him the keys to the lockers. Another robber went around collecting phones and other valuable things. He told everyone that if they tried to call the police they would be in trouble. The banks security team was on a floor and could not help.

Swapnil was very scared. He thought fast. He knew the police would take a time to come. So he thought of an idea. When the robber came to him to collect his things Swapnil looked at the window. Made a small signal like he was telling someone something.

The robber saw him away. “Who are you signalling to?” he asked.

Swapnil pretended to be very nervous. “I saw a man at the window. He was telling me that he was going to call the police. I was trying to tell him to stop, to tell him it was not safe!”

The robbers got very scared. They thought the police would come any minute. They were afraid so they ran out of the bank quickly. They did not take any money or valuable things. Swapnils quick thinking saved the day. Swapnil was happy that he helped save the bank and the people, in it. The Fixed Deposit was not important anymore Swapnil was just happy that everyone was safe.
